Austria
Austrian Political Science Association was founded in 1970.  AuPSA today consists of approximately 600 members from various fields of work related to politics and political science. Amongst them are students, graduates and faculty members from various universities, social scientists from universities and other institutions. AuPSA is a member of Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA), the European Confederation of Political Science Associations (ECPSA) and the International Political Science Association (IPSA). Aims of AuPSA: fostering political science research in Austria, serving as a point of focus for Austrian political scientists, advocating their interests and advancing the internationalisation of Austrian political science.

Croatia
The Croatian Political Science Society was founded in 1966 and today gathers individuals who promote political science in the public life as scientists, teachers, public servants, publicists, journalists and politicians. CPSS is an association of public interest for the Republic of Croatia, and promotes the development of political science, the improvement of political research and practical application in fostering democracy. Activities are focused on the organization of scientific symposiums, conferences and public debates. Annual conferences “Croatian political talks” are particularly important. CPSS is a collective member of the International Political Science Association (IPSA) and the Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA). By participating in international meetings and conferences CPSS presents Croatian politics and contributes to the development of political science.

Czech Republic
Czech Political Science Association (CSPA) is voluntary organization of professionals and students of Political Science, International Relations and other related disciplines (Political Philosophy, Political Geography, Security Studies, Constitutional Law etc.). It focuses on support and development of the Political Science as a discipline and seeks for strengthen cooperation with other related Social Sciences. Currently the CSPA has 132 regular members (as of 6 September 2018). Although the Association was founded already in 1960s, its independent development was allowed only after the fall of Communism in 1989. Its modern history dates back to 4 October 1990 when the Association was registered as civic association. CPSA is member of the Council of Scientific Societies of the Czech Academy of Sciences, which also financially supports publishing of Association’s peer-reviewed scientific journal “Czech Political Science Review”. CSPA is also active member of International Political Science Association (since 1964) and one of the co-founders of Central European Political Science Association (since 1994). The Association has held its regular national Congresses every three years since 2000. The Congresses serve as platform for presenting the results of the research and work of Association’s members. CSPA also participates on organization of various conferences, workshops and seminars.

Hungary
The Hungarian Political Science Association was established in 1982 and has been in operation since. HPSA involves political scientists in order to provide fora for professional debate, to help the young generation of researchers to be involved in the professional community and to facilitate the internationalization of Hungarian political science. HPSA operates with 180 members, a president, a general secretary and a 10-member board, there are elections every 3 years. HPSA gives out two awards every year – the Kolnai prize goes to the best political science publication and the Bibó prize is given to a colleague for outstanding lifetime achievement in political science. HPSA organizes annual conferences with the participation of 80-100 colleagues from all over the country – these conference are held in various topics in different locations.

Lithuania
Lithuanian Political Science Association (LPA) is independent non-governmental organization, which unites political scientists as well as other persons, interested in political science. LPA was established in 1991 and today has more than 70 members – lecturers of Lithuanian universities, politicians, journalists and representatives of other professions. Mission of LPA is to stimulate development of political science in Lithuania, to disseminate information on achievements of political sciences. LPA cooperates with International Political Science Association – IPSA (LPA is collective member of IPSA from 1994), and with Central European Political Science Association – CEPSA (collective member from 2001). LPA, together with Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University, organizes annual conferences, seminars, publishes newsletter, disseminates information to its members on various traineeships and national and international events, organized by LPA, Lithuanian universities or other institutions. Representatives of LPA participate in IPSA world congresses and research committees, as a collective member LPA receives the following publications by IPSA: International Political Science Abstracts, International Political Science Review and newsletter of IPSA secretariat Participation.  In 2006, Irmina Matonytė, president of LPA, was elected to the IPSA Council.

Poland
Polish Political Science Association (PPSA) was established in 1957, but Poland is a member of International Political Science Association (IPSA) since 1950. PPSA is the only one association grouping the political scientists in the country. PPSA has 18 branches in Polish cities and within the association functions 10 research sections. PPSA co-publishes two periodicals, which have an acknowledged scientific reputation: quarterly "Athenaeum. Polish Political Science Studies" and "Polish Political Science Yearbook". PPSA every year organises theoretical and methodological workshops as well as awards a prize for the best PhD thesis in political science. Since the beginning PPSA representatives are strongly represented in political science international associations. Poland hosted the 24th World Congress in Political Science in Poznan with almost 3,000 participants from 99 countries. Academic sections: Methods, techniques and research tools; East Asia Research; Political Thought; Administration and Public Policy; Political Leadership; International Relations; Political Parties and Party Systems; Electoral Research; Asia Research and Quality of Democracy.

Slovakia
The Slovak Political Science Association (SPSA) was re-established in 1990. It existed for a short time from 1968-69 and was incorporated in the officially recognized Czechoslovak Political Science Association that worked during the communist period of so-called normalization from 1969 to 1989. The SPSA is the Slovakia based successor association accepted as collective member of the International Political Science Association (IPSA). Today more than 130 members of the SPSA include scholars, researchers and students in political science; sociology; history; law; journalism; international relations; other disziplines and professions. Many members are active in sub-fields such as political culture; modern history; political sociology; conflict resolution. The interest in membership is increasing as political science continues to develop at the Slovak universities and research institutions.

​Slovenia
The Slovenian Political Science Association (SPSA) was founded in 1968, and in 1992 it joined the International Political Science Association (IPSA). The main purpose of the SPSA is to promote the freedom of thought derived from the fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual while at the same time strengthening democratic values, especially in Central and Eastern Europe, and reinforcing European ideas among its members, the academic community and the general public. SPSA currently has about 250 active members. The most important events are (bi)annual conferences bearing the title 'Slovenian Political Science Days' organized by the Society since 1989. In addition to the (bi)annual conferences, SPSA has hosted number of conferences co-organized with IPSA RCs, CEPSA, EPSnet, ECPSA and others.
